Terms & Booking Conditions
Last updated: 23 October 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern bookings of individual craft workshops and corporate team-building experiences offered by Crafted Visions Ltd. (“Crafted Visions”, “we”) via this website and by direct enquiry. For team-buildings and other bookings agreed by written proposal, the proposal and these terms together form the agreement. Where the proposal expressly sets out different terms on a specific point, the proposal prevails on that point only; in all other respects, these terms apply. The version of these terms in force at the time of booking applies. These terms are available in English and French; in case of discrepancy, the English version prevails.
2. Services and venues
Individual workshops are small-group sessions (minimum 2, maximum 6 participants) led by local artisans in Tunis or, for the guided Medina tour, by a local guide. They are normally hosted in the artisans’ own ateliers or in creative spaces arranged for the purpose. Team-buildings and private group bookings are tailored experiences agreed individually in a written proposal. Content, duration and location are as described on our website for each individual workshop, or in the proposal for team-buildings.
3. Booking and confirmation
For individual workshops, you book a date online and pay through our secure online checkout; a booking becomes binding once payment is completed. Within 24 hours, we confirm your booking and share the practical details, including the exact meeting point. For team-buildings, a booking becomes binding when the client accepts the proposal in writing (signed copy or purchase order).
4. Prices and VAT
Individual workshops. Prices vary by workshop. They are stated per person in euros on our website and in the booking calendar, and include all materials and all applicable taxes. The total amount payable is confirmed at checkout before you pay.
Team-buildings and other business bookings. These are priced individually in a written proposal, which sets out the fees and any applicable VAT. For business clients established in another EU Member State with a valid VAT number, or outside the European Union, Bulgarian VAT is not charged; any VAT due is accounted for by the client under the applicable reverse-charge or place-of-supply rules.
5. Payment
Individual workshops are paid in full at booking through our secure online checkout (Stripe). Team-buildings are paid as set out in the proposal (normally by bank transfer, or via a secure online card-payment link). Where agreed between both parties and stated in the proposal, a deposit is payable on confirmation, with the balance due as set out in the proposal. If the client cancels, any deposit paid is credited against the amounts due under section 7, and any excess is refunded. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we receive only limited payment information, such as the card type and its last four digits, and never your full card number or security code.
6. Participant numbers
Individual workshops require a minimum of 2 participants. If the minimum is not reached for your date, we will contact you and you may choose a full refund or an alternative date.
For team-buildings, the fee is set in the proposal according to the agreed workshop (format, craft and materials) and the number of participants confirmed in writing. It is fixed at confirmation; a later change in participant numbers does not change the agreed fee. Additional participants can only be added with our prior written agreement.
7. Cancellation and refunds
- By you (individual workshops): you may cancel up to 7 days before the session and receive a refund of the amount paid, minus the payment processing fee charged by our payment provider. Within 7 days of the session, bookings are non-refundable.
- By you (team-buildings): unless the proposal sets out different terms, cancellations must be made in writing. If the client cancels 30 days or more before the event, no fee is due, except for costs already incurred for the event (such as materials purchased or venue bookings made for it). For cancellations between 29 and 15 days before the event, 50% of the agreed fee is due; within 14 days of the event, the full fee is due. Moving an event to a new date is subject to our availability and agreement.
- By us (individual workshops and team-buildings): if we must cancel for reasons on our side (for example, because an artisan is unavailable and cannot be replaced or, for individual workshops, because the minimum group size is not met), you may choose an alternative date or a full refund of any amount paid.
As individual workshops are leisure services booked for a specific date, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases does not apply; the cancellation terms above apply instead.
8. Weather, force majeure and rescheduling
Where a session can be held indoors or outdoors, the setting is agreed in advance on the basis of the weather forecast. If a session cannot take place as planned because of events beyond our reasonable control (for example severe weather, natural events, public-health measures, official restrictions, civil unrest or transport disruption), we will offer an alternative date or, for individual workshops, a voucher of the same value, valid for 6 months. For team-buildings, an alternative date is offered in place of a refund.
9. Changes to artisans, venues and programme
Where necessary, for example because of illness or unavailability, we may replace an artisan, a facilitator or a venue arranged by us with one of equivalent standard, and we will inform you in advance wherever possible. Minor adjustments to the programme or schedule may occur to ensure the best possible experience.
10. Venues
The proposal states whether the venue is arranged by Crafted Visions or provided by the client.
Venue arranged by Crafted Visions. We book and prepare the venue (for example an artisan’s atelier, a creative space or a meeting room) as set out in the proposal. Venue costs are included in the fee unless the proposal states otherwise. The client is responsible for any damage to the venue caused intentionally or negligently by its participants.
Venue provided by the client. The client, as the party booking the venue, is responsible for securing the room, for obtaining the venue’s approval to hold a hands-on craft activity in the space, for providing the furniture agreed in the proposal, and for the venue and any damage to it. Crafted Visions arrives ahead of the session to arrange the space, provides table protection, delivers the workshop safely, and is responsible for its own materials, tools and equipment.
11. Health, safety and conduct
Please arrive on time. Materials such as clay, ink and pigments may stain; please wear clothes suited to hands-on work. Hands-on activities involve tools and materials such as stone, clay, inks, pigments and adhesives. Participants take part at their own risk, subject to section 15, and must follow the instructions of the artisan and facilitator at all times. Please tell us or the artisan before the session about any allergy or sensitivity (for example to dust or adhesives) or any other condition relevant to taking part. Participants under 18 must be booked by, and take part under the responsibility of, a parent or guardian. We may exclude anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose conduct endangers themselves, other participants, staff or the workspace; no refund is given in such cases.
12. Photography, video and use of name
Photos and video may be taken during sessions and used by Crafted Visions for reference and marketing purposes, including on its website and social-media channels. Recognisable participants are shown only where they have given their written consent, collected before the session; consent can be withdrawn at any time for future use. For participants under 18, photo and video consent is given by a parent or guardian. For team-buildings, by accepting the proposal the client grants Crafted Visions the right to use its name, and photographs and video of the event, for these purposes, unless agreed otherwise in writing. The client’s logo is used only where the client agrees.
13. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are arranged individually and are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
14. Data protection
We process personal data, including booking details and photo and video consent forms, in line with our Privacy Policy.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Crafted Visions Ltd. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability is limited to the fees paid for the booking concerned. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, in particular for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. For business clients, the courts of Sofia, Bulgaria, have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may also bring proceedings in the courts there.
